Prevention+ Sober Living: Prevention+ is an alumni program for successful graduates of the Fresh Start program. This program extends the care and support services participants received during their time in the Fresh Start program for an additional 12 months. Alumni will reside in a peer-led recovery residence where they will continue to help maintain accountability and lead them gently towards completely independent living. We help our alumni establish relapse prevention plans, in addition to short and long term educational and career goals and offer a variety of continued support when needed.

We quickly realized, however, that in order to effectively empower the family unit, we would need to incorporate interventions designed for parents. With this newfound awareness, we eagerly designed an array of mental health rehabilitative services for adults, including skill building, skill training, case management, crisis stabilization, and substance abuse recovery. These services are provided on-site, within the community, and in secure residential settings.
All of HYPE’s services are CARF accredited and licensed by the Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services. We have assembled a team of highly qualified and dedicated mental health professionals with a passion for giving back to the community.
Functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety; instrumental activities of daily living, and use of community resources.
Assistance with understanding compliance to medication management
Monitoring health, nutrition, and physical condition with goals towards self-monitoring and self-regulation of all of these activities.
Services are provided face-to face for as many as twelve (12) hours per week for an average of six (6) months to a year.
